HEALTHY FAMILIES provides low-cost health, dental, and vision coverage for children not eligible for Medi-Cal. This program is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and “qualified” immigrant children under age 19. Call (800) 675-2229. |

MENTAL HEALTH Twain has a partnership with Mental Health Systems for individual and family therapy at no cost for students with Medi-Cal and low cost for students with no mental health insurance. Contact the school nurse for assistance. |

The nurse has free gift certificates for this school year for eye exams and glasses for students who do not have vision care insurance. Also available is emergency dental care for students with no dental insurance. A list of agencies providing low cost dental service is also available. |
