Congratulations to our Tiger students, staff, parents and community members for another successful year at Sandburg. The year was filled with many activities that promoted academic excellence, physical fitness, character building and community outreach.

Keeping the school functioning as a safe and productive learning center for all students is a large task. Team work between all contributing members is very much appreciated! I wish to thank the staff members who gave their personal best every day to enhance the lives of our Sandburg Tigers. The staff members who went above and beyond their work day to create extra curricular activities/opportunities for the students are also very much appreciated! A huge round of applause for the numerous volunteers who took time out of their busy lives to assist in the classrooms and/or out on the playground and running field. Thank you to all those people who helped create memorable events and to those who continue to keep the vision alive. On behalf of the staff and students we would like to extend our gratitude for the constant love and support you give so unconditionally. Thank you! Thank you!!

Summer time is time spent in the sun – this is your gentle reminder to be prepared when you and your children go out to “play”. Please wear sunscreen, shirts, hats and sunglasses to protect that beautiful skin of yours.

Continue to expect your children to grow dendrites throughout the summer. Encourage them to read, write, problem solve and engage in intelligent conversations about the world with you. Have a safe summer filled with the making of many new memories. See you September 8!
