The Komodo Dragons live in the tropical rain forests. They will eat anything possible except plants. They have large, sharp, black claws that are used to rip their prey apart. The muscular bodies helps to tackle down their prey and enemies. Their huge mouths are for eating large parts of their food. Their long forked tongue is for smelling and tasting. They can smell food over five miles away. Their strong arms and legs help them run swiftly, dig, swim, walk on two feet, and climb. They have a large strong tail that they hit their prey and smaller komodo dragons, to get food. They have a bacteria in their saliva that gets in to the prey when bitten, and kills them slowly. Their teeth are serrated to tare their prey apart. The komodo dragon's eyes helps him to see his prey better. The komodo dragon's earslits are tiny but they still could hear. Their nostrils can smell stuff.
