from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Souplantation on Fletcher
Parkway. This

Patrick
Henry High Band Night Updates
October 15, 2009
Parents,
I was just informed by Mr. K at Henry that the 7th & 8th grade
band students will be finished with band night immediately after
halftime.
The PHHS Band has a competition Sat AM with a very early call time
so they will be leaving after halftime.
All Pershing students will need to be picked up immediately
following halftime or released to their parents to watch the
remainder of the game. Please check out with Mr. Anderson
when you are leaving. You can pick up your students at the
front of PHHS near the Band Room and Auditorium, where you drop
them off at 5 pm.
Mr. Anderson will be transporting a few pieces of equipment back
to Pershing after halftime. Please plan your pick up
arrangements accordingly.

Pershing Band Boosters...
This Friday, October 16th, is the
Patrick Henry Middle School Band Night.
The football game begins at
6:30 p.m.
vs.
Mira
Mesa
High School
and takes place at
Patrick
Henry
High School
,
6702 Wandermere Drive
.
7th & 8th grade band students
should arrive at Henry by
5 p.m.
on Friday and should go to the cafeteria/band room.
Students are responsible for transporting their own
instruments, sheet music, etc. and themselves to and from Henry.
Musicians are free; $7 General tickets; $2 Ages 6 – 12;
5 and under, or 65 and older are free.
The Pershing music room will be open Friday afternoon
until approximately
3:30 p.m.
to pick up instruments.
Mandatory concert dress is the
Pershing polo shirt and jeans.
Please bring your Pershing sweatshirt, if you have one,
also. Contact Mr.
Anderson directly regarding any concert
issues at manderson2@sandi.net.
The band will perform at half-time,
after which time students are released to their families.
Students may stay and watch the rest of the game with
their families, or leave. Instruments
should be brought home and returned to the music room Monday, or
make arrangements with Mr. Anderson regarding returning
instruments to Pershing on Friday night.

Patrick
Henry High's
Middle School Band Night with
the Patrick Henry High School Spirit of ’76 Marching Patriots will be
held on Friday, October 16, 2009. This year, we will have additional
rehearsals prior to the football game performance. All 7th and 8th grade
band students will be required to attend the rehearsal and the
performance. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday
October 1, 2009 - Rehearsal for the PHHS Middle School Band Night.
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at PHHS in the Cafeteria/Band
Room. Students were told on September 30th to bring their
instruments, music, etc. home with them so they will have everything
they need for October 1st. The band room will be open on October
1st until 3:30 p.m. for students to pick up instruments.
Students are responsible for transporting their own instrument to
Henry, including percussionists. Take your instrument home with
you Thursday night (October 1st) after the rehearsal at Henry, then
return it to Mr. Anderson at school on Friday, October 2nd.
