Our Girl Scout troop is working on our Bronze Award by organizing a project called “Warm Hearted Kids”. For this charitable event we are collecting blankets, coats, jackets, shoes, and clothes for the homeless children and families in San Diego County . We would appreciate any help you can provide, or any items you have to give. We are collecting new or gently used items from October 1st through November 8th. Please join us on Saturday, November 8th at the Mt. Acadia Athletic Field to drop off your donations any time between 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you can not make this date, items can be given to or picked up by any Junior Girl Scout or Adult member of our troop by contacting our Troop leader Ms. Taletha at TSuitts2@aol.com. We would like to thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity and express our sincere appreciation for your support of our efforts to help out members of our community.
