Hello! My name is Alice Evans and I have been part of the Doyle family since 1986. Prior to that, I was a teacher in Illinois for a number of years. In 2001 I become a National Board Certified teacher. I love my profession and I think that second graders ARE THE BEST! I live in Del Mar with my wonderful husband, Mark and daughter, Whitney. Our older daughter, Ashleigh, is married to Lance and they recently blessed us with the cutest grandson in the world, Malakai Evan! My free time is spent reading, writing, swimming and enjoying time with my family. I have even been known to get out on a surfboard every now and then! In addition, I enjoy volunteering for the national and international Angelman Syndrome Foundations. Whitney was born with the genetic disorder.
