Parents

Parent Involvement is vital to Crawford Complex. As part of our learning community, you can help our schools by volunteering in any of the following capacities:

• Guest speaker
• Liaison with business
• Plan field trips
• Participate in multicultural fairs
• In-class monitor and teacher assistant
• School Cite Council

Parent Connect

Collaboration and communication between parents and staff is a priority at Crawford. In an effort to build on this belief, and to ensure academic success for all students, we are implementing Parent Connection. Parent Connection provides parents secured Internet access to read-only information about their students, including student demographics, student schedules, attendance, class assignments, report card and progress reports, transcripts, behavior, and e-mail links to teachers and counselors. The only information a parent can edit is his/her password and email address. Parent Connection requires a computer with Internet access and a web browser. The minimum requirements for the web browser are Internet Explorer 5.0. Parent Connection will work either Windows or Mac computers. Recommended browsers are Internet Explorer for PC, Safari for Mac and Mozilla Firefox for both.
