Every year ASB promotes events such as Homecoming, Winter Formal, Friday rallies, and other activites they come up with during the year. If you were to talking into an ASB classroom, you would see a room full of motivated students singing, painting, gleefully shouting and somewhere in between, getting their work done. As ASB helps the students, ASB members are also helping themselves by learning about becoming a better leader and improving other necessary life skills.
ASB does all kinds of different events. We work as one big ASB on events such as Homecoming and Winter Formal, but we also work as individual ASB on events such as rallies and leadership projects. As part of ASB you will be encouraged to present your own ideas for events and work with others to make them a reality.
Each individual ASB meets everyday during third period at the start of class to discuss what has been accomplished and what needs to be accomplished. ASB collectively meets biweekly, usually on a Wednesday, to discuss past and future events. We talk about the ups and downs of events and how we could make them better for the following year.
