The Board voted to approve the following items:
- F.04. Resolutions in the Matter of the Reductions/Eliminations of Classified Services
- F.06. Millennial Tech Middle School Academy and Gompers Preparatory Academy Facility Improvements: The board approved having district staff negotiate with the Gompers Preparatory Academy on a solution, with a report at the July 28, 2009 reported to the Board.
- G.02. American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Funds - 2009-10 Proposed Ideas for Expenditure: Board approved a sharing of approximately $9 million among elementary schools in 90 percent free/reduced lunch and above and in program improvement (year zero and above), plus Encanto and Adams. Funds will be used to hire teachers to maintain the 15:1 K-2 ratio or other purposes if classroom space is not available. The board will consider other funding at its next meeting.
