4-Square

  • Server begins game by serving to first square.
  • One bounce/one hit with one or two hands or fist.
  • Ball may bounce ONCE per square.  If ball hits player in feet or body before player returns ball with hand, player is out.
      ●  Dead balls (player is out):  ball hits any line, ball hits player’s body before the return hit, ball that is caught.

Tetherball

  • 2 players:  server and receiver
  • Server begins the game by holding all in one hand and socking ball with fist toward receiving player who tries to stop the momentum of ball by

using one or two hands to hit ball back to server.

·        NEVER catch a moving ball.  Dead ball = out.

·        Both players continue hitting with fists to encourage ball to wrap around pole until it stops (tethers).

·        If rope hits player’s hand or player grabs rope = dead ball.  Other player gets free serve.

·        When game is over, losing player returns to waiting line and new player gets the serve.

Wall Ball

  • 2 players:  server and receiver.
  • Other players must wait on waiting line.
  • The entering player is always the server.
  • The ball is put into play by hitting with fist toward ground to cause ball to          bounce from ground to wall.  The receiving player positions himself          to return ball to wall with a hit down on the ball to continue game.
  • If a player catches the ball, the player is out.
  • Ball must at all times stay within the court area.  If ball comes off wall and bounces outside of court lines, ball is dead - player is out.
  • Ball must always be hit on or above black line on wall.

Hula Hoops

  • Spin around waist or may be spun around.
  • No throwing, rolling or pulling of hoops.
